Young Explorers who are just beginning the exciting journey of language discovery will be motivated and encouraged to speak and interact in English. Together we will enjoy a wide range of fun activities including art, games, puzzles, quizzes, and songs designed to stretch, enhance and increase our English vocabulary. Join our Young Explorers as we begin exploring phonic activities to develop stronger reading abilities.
Creative Language (AM)
Weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4
Suitable for Young Explorers of all language backgrounds, Creative Story-Telling will focus on alphabet recognition, sounds, and early reading and writing. We’ll have fun with computer games, themes, stories, drama, and crafts that will help develop our literacy skills. Join our Young Explorers as we discover new ways to express ourselves, and unlock the adventures in our imaginations!
Chinese Language Discovery (PM)
Weeks 1 and 3
In the afternoon, young students will also be able to discover their passion for Mandarin in the Chinese Language Discovery programme. Like its morning English Language programme counterpart, the afternoon Chinese Language programme will help us become more fluent in our writing, reading, speaking and listening skills and become more confident Chinese Language communicators.
Discover Drama Junior (PM)

If you huff and puff, can you blow the Three Little Pigs’ house down? What about growing some magic beans all the way up to the sky? Join our Young Explorers as we explore our favourite fairy tales, the characters we love, the beloved fantasies we enjoy – and we’ll work together to create our own performance!
Art Explorers Junior (AM)
Weeks 2, 3 and 4
Budding artists and creative Young Explorers will enjoy this fun-packed programme focusing on investigating and experimenting with different artistic materials and techniques within an art and craft context. Join our Young Explorers as we discover new ways to express our artistic and creative side, and be exposed to different types of art mediums including: marbling (mixing inks and water); paper mâché (3D objects); jewellery making; painting; collage; finger painting; and more!
Just Play! Junior (PM)
Weeks 2 and 4
Young Explorers who love to sing, dance, and create music will enjoy this musical option. We’ll explore new instruments (such as the xylophone and drums), learn to sing a variety of song styles, connect music with dance and rhythms, and more!
Dino Discovery (AM / PM)
Explore the wonders of prehistoric life with hands-on activities that promises learning, discovery and FUN! Junior paleontologist will learn about extraordinary dinosaurs that roamed the earth and what happened to them. We’ll have activities such as dinosaur digs where we get to excavate our own dinosaur bones, making our own dinosaur habitat (volcanoes included) and many more!
Amazing Science (AM / PM)
Be introduced to the wonderful and amazing world of science! Our junior scientists will engage in FUN, hands-on learning activities that are sure to bring smiles to faces as we explore light & sound; primary, secondary, and tertiary colours; magnets; states of matter; and more! Each lesson topic offers the opportunity to develop skills of observation, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration. Join our Young Explorers in this meaningful way to create first memories of science fun!
Once Upon a Time (AM / PM)
Did you know that the Three Little Pigs were civil engineers? And the poor, much-maligned Big, Bad Wolf was only a structural engineer trying to do his job!? This unit harnesses the power of beloved children’s stories such as The Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Jack & the Beanstalk, Hansel & Gretel, The Gingerbread Man, and The Billy Goats Gruff to expose our young Engineers and Scientists to basic scientific and engineering principles and concepts used in aeronautical, civil, marine and mechanical engineering, chemistry, and even forensic science! We will have loads of FUN! Building boats for the Billy Goats Gruff; designing a working parachute for Jack; making ice cream with Anna and Elsa; solving the mystery of the Gingerbread Man’s escape; and more!
Space Camp (AM / PM)
Aspiring astronauts and astronomers, prepare for takeoff! Get ready for an adventure into space exploration! We will learn about our solar system and even get to make our own planet. Together, we will discover planetary rotation and revolution, Newton’s Laws of Motion; the causes of day and night; magnetic fields and FUN activities to go along! We will design space rockets, lunar landers, telescopes and more! Join our Young Explorers in this discovery to look up at the sky in a whole new way!
Active Adventure (PM)
Weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4
In Active Adventures, students will explore a range of sports through fun activities, drills and games. In addition to developing their gross motor skills and fine motor skills, cooperative activities will require students to use teamwork and communication skills.
